Fertility support can help you regardless of whether you are looking for knowledge on your cycle, specific ovarian conditions and how to manage them, education for yourself or your teen on contraception methods, assistance getting pregnant or preparing the body for a healthy pregnancy, or information on conception beyond the natural approach (IVF, IUI, etc).

A 1.5h 1-on-1 session or with partner/co-parent
Education on FAM and cycle tracking
Personalised nutrition, mindfulness, and exercise plan to help you reach your goals - it may include herbal and nutritional supplementation

Helpful tools, tips, and tricks for navigating your unique obstacles

3 months: 2 follow-up 45min sessions: after 2 and 3 months from the first

birth doula
A birth doula offers emotional, mental and physical support before, during and after labour & birth, whether at home or at the hospital. The primary aim of a birth support doula is to empower clients with perinatal education, emotional support, and comfort measures, fostering informed choices and enhancing their birth journey. With your birth doula you will have:
Educational session on what to expect and “birth preferences” plans
Practice session to learn all the ways you can be supported at birth
Real support at birth place since active labour starts - doula brings props, snacks, oils, drinks and other activity items
Help immediately after birth to support bonding with baby and breast/chestfeeding
IN-PERSON OPTION ONLY - CLIENT’S HOME (CARLETON PLACE TO OTTAWA)
Your doula will work closely with your midwife or health care provider to ensure that they can perform important medical checks and tasks while we bring you comfort, but doula work does not stop there. As a doula, I will advocate for you and make sure that your needs and wishes are being heard by medical professionals, and that you always have all the information you need to make rational decisions at such a distressing time.

I am thrilled to announce a new partnership with Victoria from Ottawa VBAC Doula, beginning in March 2024. Together, we offer an exceptional synergy of strength, expertise, and unwavering positivity for our clients. As a team of two, you can trust that one of us will be there for you every step of the way, often providing the valuable advantage (and joy!) of dual support.
With the support of 2 doulas, we make sure that not only you get double the expertise during prenatal sessions, but that you get to form a bond with both doulas. This way, the doula that attends your birth is someone with whom you’ve built a relationship of trust.

2x in-person prenatal visits lasting 2-3h each
1x virtual prenatal consultation of 2h

In-person support during active labour all the way to 2h after childbirth, regardless of labour length - doulas can take turns so you are always supported

postpartum doula
After birth, both parent(s) and baby need a lot of support. A doula can be hired overnight to help care for baby so that you can get some rest, or on a consultation basis - an informative session on infant care, breastfeeding techniques and restorative care for the parent who gave birth. Benefits of having a postpartum doula:
Professionally trained to care for baby (for 8h) while parents rest
While baby sleeps, the doula can help out at home while always watching baby
Postpartum care consultations for the birthing person can include: tips for breastfeeding and babywearing, natural product use (diaper rash, sore nipples, washing baby items), routine/schedule prep, *nutrition and lifestyle for parent and baby.
*Please note that if you wish to have a nutrition and lifestyle plan for postpartum care, you should book as a nutrition consultation. During a doula consultation, there is no personalised meal planning for your individual needs.
